Zimbabwe has the highest literacy rate in the world and that is one thing that we should be grateful to see. Its a pity that some countries still deny girls to go to school. The literacy level among elderly women in some African countries is appalling. It is time that these women arise and begin to emerge
In the headlines last year was a muslim girl fighting for the right to learn. It is critical to note however that education is not merely book knowledge but, the information that is retained when all learning ends. It is thus critical for an individual to be ravenous when it comes to gaining knowledge. There is so much to learn out there!!!! It should be the desire of every individual to expand their knowledge base. A famous writer once said if you want to hide something from an African hide it in a book.
This should be a challenge to us as Africans to garner knowledge.The human mind has such capacity to absorb information and process it. It is said that humans only utilise only 5% of their brain. Imagine the possible inventions that would evolve if individuals would stretch themselves !!!!!! Great inventions will arise if we use our full capacity,
